Fees, Insurance and Payment Policies
What does it cost to see an Osteopath?
We do our best to keep all our financial policies simple and transparent; therefore, you will always know what to expect
Fees
New Patient (1 hour) $150
Subsequent appointment (30 mins) $100
Extended appointment (1 hour) $150
DVA & Medicare

Our clinic holds provider registration with the Department of Veterans’ Affairs and Medicare.
We do NOT bulk bill or directly claim your refund from Medicare or DVA.
Our standard consultation fees apply and are payable at the time of your appointment. Afterwards, you will receive a receipt.
If you have the appropriate GP referral documentation, you can submit this receipt to Medicare or the Department of Veterans’ Affairs (DVA). As a result, you will receive a rebate for a portion of the consultation fee.
Before booking, if you plan to claim through Medicare or DVA, please let us know. This ensures that you are seeing the most appropriate practitioner for your condition and that the correct referral requirements are in place.
Work Cover
You might be eligible to have your fees covered by Work Cover. This you would need to confirm directly with them and have the appropriate paperwork.
We do NOT bulk bill or directly claim your refund from Work Cover.
What does it cost to see an Osteopath?
Our usual fees apply and are payable at the time of appointment. You will receive a receipt.
Provided you have the appropriate GP / Work Cover referral documentation, when you submit your receipt toWork Cover, you will receive a rebate from them.
NDIS
We have not registered as an NDIS provider.
If you are a “self managed” NDIS recipient then we can provide you with receipts which you can then claim.
Private Health Funds
The majority of private Health Funds cover Osteopathy.
We doNOT bulk bill.
We have an EfTPOS / Hicaps machine and you can swipe your card or “beep” your phone in the practice and claim your refund here.
Your insurance will usually pay a proportion of the fee and a gap payment is generally required.
The amount they pay is dependent upon your individual policy.
Your provider will be able to tell you what that amount would be.
Credit Cards / Cash
Credit Cards and EFTPOS Payments
We accept most credit and debit cards except American Express. In addition, we prefer electronic payment via EFTPOS.
Cash Payments
If you wish to pay with cash, please ensure you have the correct amount available. For this reason, we do not keep cash or provide change in the practice.
Medications and Prescriptions
Similarly, Osteopaths do not dispense medication or drugs. Therefore, you will not find any medications kept on the premises.
Cancellation Policy
We politely ask that you give us as much notice of cancellation as possible.
However, we do reserve the right to charge a fee if less than 48 hours’ notice is given and we are unable to fill the appointment time.
Furthermore, if less than 24 hours’ notice is provided, or no notice is given at all, then the full fee will be charged.
